Summary

Locivisi helps you explore cultural sites in Rome on Android and iOS. Your trip data stays on your device. We do not operate user accounts or sell personal data.

Data stored on your device

The apps store the following locally:

• Visited and “want to visit” flags per site
• Private notes you write about sites
• Trip planner days and assigned sites
• Theme and language preferences

On Android this data is stored using Room and DataStore. On iOS it is stored using SwiftData and UserDefaults. This data is not uploaded to our servers because we do not operate a backend for Locivisi.

Network usage

The apps use the Internet to:

• Download the Rome catalogue and UI strings on launch (cached on device afterward)
• Load map tiles via Google Maps (Android and iOS)
• Load site images referenced in the catalogue
• Open external websites when you tap official site, ticket, tour, or audio links
• Open an optional Ko-fi checkout page when you choose “Support Locivisi” (voluntary tip; no account required in Locivisi)

Google Maps is provided by Google and subject to Google’s privacy policy. Ko-fi handles optional support payments and has its own privacy policy.

Partner and affiliate links

Locivisi may show optional links to third-party tour and ticket partners (for example GetYourGuide or Tiqets). If you choose to book through such a link, you leave Locivisi and transact directly with the partner. Locivisi may receive a commission. Locivisi does not receive your booking or payment details from those partners. Partner sites have their own privacy practices.

External links

Ticket, official website, tour, and audio links open in your browser (or an in-app browser tab). Those third-party sites have their own privacy practices.

Analytics and advertising

Locivisi does not include analytics SDKs or in-app advertising.

Children

Locivisi is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected in a future app update and on this page.
